The certification attests to the perfect compatibility and function of the cables, couplings and pigtails in a 2-connector permanent link with a length of 205 meters (OM3) or 155 meters (OM4). It offers maximum security to both the end user and the installer. Certification for single-mode cabling links is also currently being worked on.

The certification of the fiber-optic lines in accordance with the GHMT Type Approval complements the certification of the INFRALAN® copper cabling links, which we have had for many years. As with the copper data networks, INFRALAN® fiber optic systems installed by certified INFRALAN® partners are backed by a 25-year system warranty. In case of warranty, INFRALAN® covers the costs for the replacement of defective components upon proof that they are the cause of the fault.
